Smoothie bowls are all the rage right now, and for good reason! If you're not into drinking your breakfast, they're another great option for sneaking in more fruits and veggies than you would normally eat whole. I also love them because there are so many ways to dress them up! Granola, nuts, seeds, fruits- the possibilities are endless both for creating the base and for choosing the toppings. Here are two of my favorite variations but I highly recommend you experience with as many ingredients as possible to find your favorite.
Acai Bowl
Smoothie Ingredients:- 1 frozen unsweetened acai smoothie pack (we used Sambazon)
- 2/3 ripe banana
- 1/2 cup blueberries
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
Green Smoothie Bowl
Smoothie Ingredients:- 1/4 ripe avocado
- 1 medium ripe banana, frozen
- 1/2 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
- 1 large handful spinach
- 1 small handful kale, stems removes
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- Optional: 1 tbsp almond butter for protein!
