We always recommend buying local, organic fruits and vegetables, but we also know that that isn't feasible for everyone all the time. Whether you have budgetary limitations or organic options just aren't easily accessible, it’s sometimes easier said than done to buy all of your produce organic. Every year, The Environmental Working Group (EWG) releases a list of 12 foods called the "Dirty Dozen" that are most likely to contain pesticides. When possible, buy these organic! There's also a "Clean Fifteen" group of foods that are least likely to contain pesticides, so you don't have to worry too much about always buying these organic 100% of the time if you find yourself having to pick and choose. We'll publish that list in a couple of weeks, but in the meantime you can view it here.
