Cooking for the holidays can be tough. Most of the recipes are complex & cooking for large groups of people can make it even more difficult. I was so thankful (pun totally intended!) to find this super easy no-bake Thanksgiving dessert and I've made it year after year.
Not only is it easy to make, but its super delicious & full of nutrient dense foods like berries and nuts.
Ingredients:
- 6 Cups Mixed Berries (chop larger berries like Strawberries)
- 2 TBS maple syrup (or more, to taste)
- 1 cup raw pecans
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 1/2 cup pitted dates, roughly chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions:
In a large baking dish, toss berries with maple syrup. Place pecans, walnuts, dates & cinnamon into a food processor and pulse until coarsely ground. (Click here to learn about food processors & why we love them).
Scatter nut mixture on top of berries and serve right away or chill until you are ready to serve.
Enjoy!
