Pomegranate and Orange SangriaWhat libation is good any day of the week, any week of the month, any month of the year? Sangria! You can easily take a simple recipe and dress it up for a particular time of year – whether that’s a refreshing summer sangria, a fun fall cider sangria or a festive holiday sangria (deets below!), they’re all fun to make… and drink. In honor of National Sangria Day, we’re mixing up the perfect pomegranate sangria with a splash of Suja’s Classic Fuel just for you! In addition to being a delicious and festive drink, the ingredients just so happen to be good for you as well. Turmeric (found in Fuel) is a well known anti-inflammatory (1), pomegranate is known to promote blood circulation (2) and both cranberries (3) and oranges (4) are high in vitamin C. Pomegranate & Orange Sangria Recipe Ingredients
    • 1 bottle red wine (Cabernet Sauvignon is preferred)
    • 1 cup brandy
    • 1 cup of pomegranate juice
    • 1 orange, sliced
    • Seeds from 1 pomegranate
    • 1 cup fresh cranberries
    • 1 cinnamon stick
Preparation In a large pitcher, stir together the wine, brandy and juice. Add orange slices, pomegranate seeds, cranberries and cinnamon stick. Chill in the fridge until ready to serve. Pour over ice in festive wine glasses and serve to your very merry guests!
